Ruby’s got on her kitty dress (thanks Gma Susie!) and the funny hairband I made for her. It keeps her hair out of her eyes, which bothers her. I’m not ready to give her bangs!

Ruby’s been really into books lately; she loves to choose one out of the book basket, and settle down in the library chair (which is behind her in this picture) and she carefully turns each page. She’s even gentle enough to use the non-board books (most of the time)!

Ruby chose another book and layed down on the floor next to papa and C to read it.

I love how Ruby is just kickin’ back reading her book in this picture! It’s also pretty cute how Chris is holding one of her feet.

Ruby has been laying on her stomach, browsing through this book, for the last few minutes.

Such joy, from a simple clothes hanger.

Chris is observing the fire. You have to watch it kind of closely after you light it, to determine how much the flues need to be closed. And it’s really pretty, too!

I had put the plug box up on the table, to use to prop the camera up on to take the timer-pictures. The stool is there so C could reach up and push the timer button, too, to take a few pictures. Well, Ruby was very excited to stand on the stool and plug the plugs into the box. The plug box has been one of her favorite things lately.

Ruby was wearing the key necklace around her shoulders, like a shawl. I thought that was pretty cute!
Ruby making a funny face

Ruby is so animated and expressive. She also makes a lot of different noises (including one of the loudest squeals I’ve ever heard come out of a 20 lb. body). I think this picture captures both of these aspects of Ruby pretty well.
There goes Ruby!

This picture reminds me of another picture of Ruby’s Auntie Jen.
After we took the Sunday Picture today, I took a few more pictures of Ruby and C and Chris built a fire. It’s been very very cold this week, and snowed almost every day.
