Sunday Picture, walk in the park
2005 October 9, Sunday
We took our Sunday Picture(s) during a weekend visit to St. Hanshaugen park. The weather has been getting autumnal and chilly; the leaves are turning beautiful colors. We are getting settled into our apartment and we are hard at work, exploring Oslo and finding all the important things in the city, like a good set of swings!

I am wearing a hat that Aunt Thelma made for me years ago. I had forgotten about it, but mom brought some extra cold-weather gear for us from Alaska and it was among the other items. It’s a little silly, but I think it’s pretty cute.

Ruby looks like she is not very sure about this tire-swing thing!

I was experimenting with the camera a little bit… I tried to keep the camera moving in tandem with C by keeping his face in the same spot on the viewfinder, so it would be in focus (relatively) and the rest of the picture would be motion-blurred. It worked, sort of.

I tried to keep C’s face in the same spot on the viewfinder to keep it in focus and have the rest of the picture motion-blur; but unfortunately it is focussed around his forehead!.
The weather is getting chillier and the air is getting crisper but we are still able to go for a nice walk in the park. The leaves are very beautiful and C loves to gather them and carry them like a bouquet of flowers. Imagine a world where every tree had hundreds of lovely blooms and the streets are littered with blossoms. The toddler’s world is full of wonder.
