C just had a rather traumatic experience with the fountains: he tried to walk through one, but it spurted him in the face which caused him to lose his balance, dunking himself.

Swimming was a big part of my childhood, and I wanted C to be comfortable in the water, too. It was great having the Northwest Community Center so close to us, it had a great pool.
