Each of the kids got their own little pumpkin, and then we got one big pumpkin, too.

Imagine Ruby being all pink. Oh, and: no, I’m not pregnant — that’s Apl in the sling. You can just see her eye peeping up over the edge!

We finally decided to get the kids a scooter (so they could have practice steering and balancing without the high-stakes wipe-outs possible on a bike). We presented it to them as part of the Halloween fun.

C’s is on the left, Ruby’s on the right. We put the big one outside to encourage trick-or-treaters to ring, and these ones in the hallway as further indicators that there was candy to be had here!

Such happy little pumpkins!

Halloween isn’t really a thing in Norway yet. At least not very much anyway. I think this will change in a couple of years as the younger generation catches onto the “free candy” aspect of the holiday. Anyway, we had a full day of Halloween fun with pumpkin carving, children’s theater Halloween show, and then waiting for trick-or-treaters at home.
