Tim and I walked around here first with his sister in Spet ’05 and later in Dec with my family when it was cold and slippery, and we had a baby in a sling. Definitley will be on our list when we visit next time.

The buildings were built right on the hilltop, and some of the rock is still sticking out!

This was by far their favorite part of the trip. Just climbing on some rocks.

C knows what the crenellations on a castle wall top are for — shooting arrows at enemy cruise ships!

I’ve been trying to get the family out more often, with mixed success. It has been rainy for weeks, and I wanted to take advantage of a less-rainy day. Chris and Ruby had to go to the doctor, and afterword we took a little trip up to the Akershus fortress and castle. We didn’t actually go in, but we walked around the grounds and the courtyard. Neat place!
