Opening Presents

We opened family presents on Christmas day, before the big Christmas dinner with extended family.

One of the first presents that I opened was the fancy new camera from Chris. I loved it! Actually a film camera, if you can believe it! The last film camera I owned. We had it until shortly after C was born.

I got a waffle iron for christmas from grandma and grandpa!

Mom gave me this lovely Wells Fargo Calendar for Christmas.

I was very excited about getting the Martha Stewart cookbook. I excpected to like it a lot more than I did — I thought it would be more all-purpose recipes with an emphasis on techniques (kind of like the show), but it was mostly fancy-pants single-use kind of recipes. Oh well.

Dad had the idea that we should get a sofa pillow for Joe, to aid in the decorating of his bachelor pad, but I thought we should make it more personal, so I embroidered this pillow for Joe — it says “Snow Joe Bonjour”
