A new year! I think 2008 was the first year that I was still having trouble remembering what year it was all the way into December. And now it’s 2009…
Guess what I got on New Year’s Eve, though? My new camera! 5Dmk2, and words just don’t describe how awesome it is. (Except those words kind of do.) With my new 35mm f/1.4, it’s a low-light monster.
Also new: I have been growing out a moustache for a month or so. C helped me pick out the style of pointy goatee (still working on it) and handle-bar moustache. It’s not done, but it does curl up on the ends… and it is almost as awesome as my camera. (And for someone who has always hated moustaches, that’s saying something. It’s a total moustache revelation.)
In a month or so, we’ll have a new baby. I’m ready, at least camera-wise.
Lots of pictures on the way, but I took 11 Gb of pics just yesterday… so there’s a bit of a backlog. (And I’m too excited taking pictures to spend any time developing/uploading/cataloging/etc.)
