Trip to the Opera House

We took a trip down to the new Opera House, as I’d still never been. You’re supposed to be able to walk all over it, and I guess it’s a big deal or something. Except it was all closed off, and it started raining. So we walked around to the side and watched the fjord instead.

He’s been refusing to get a haircut, (and I think it’s totally legitimate for him to be able to choose his hair style now) but hates to have his hair behind his ears (and it’s not even really long enough yet), so it’s constantly in his eyes (and food) and for some reason that really bothers me. He’s always doing this headtwitch thing to try to shake it out of his eyes. And he’s twitchy enough as it is. So I’ve been trying to convince him to wear a headband (to no avail).

I think there was a bird fishing in the water that the kids were watching.
