C and Ruby were both really excited to see the baby. C, as usual, got a little overexcited (laughing/screaming kind of loudly, dancing around) but he was able to calm himself down enough to hold her. She was already getting a little cranky, but C held her for a couple of minutes. He thought it was awesome.

We had a little 4th of July picnic in the park, celebrating with the traditional grilling of hot dogs and apple pie (well, not grilling pie… you know what I mean). We all did our best to dress patriotically and a good time was had by all. We invited our friends Elisabeth and Håvard with their new baby Helena.
