Happy Birthday Auntie Lauren

Lauren is in the last year of her twenties! We had a little get-together at our house with Lauren and Karl. We made a proper birthday celebration of it, with strawberry pie and a candle.

C goes through these phases of having to chew on everything. As far as I can tell he’s not growing any new teeth — if this were so, he’d have a mouth like a shark because it’s been pretty constant since forever. I should say, maybe, that he goes through phases of not chewing on everything, because chewing on stuff if his normal state. It’s just another way he explores his world.

Yes, C has his hands on his socks. Gleefully.

This week’s picture … Lauren’s got the glowing birthday thing going on, C’s silly, Ruby’s cute, and the rest of us look like we need a good nap.
