Our First Visit to Hovedøya

2007 June 21, Thursday · Oslo, Norway

MORE +

We went to the largest island in Oslofjord with a friend from C’s school and his family. We enjoyed a nice picnic in a field and explored some of the trails on the island, in a luckily unrainy portion of the day. We didn’t get to check out the Monestary ruins, which are a highlight of this island. And I didn’t learn until later that there are sheep grazing somewhere there!

Movie of C’s chipmunk cheeks

At the end, after he says “look at me” he says something in Norwegian, but I couldn’t quite make it out between the cherries.
