Waking up with C

C must have been awake for a little while when I woke up this morning. He usually sleeps next to me, shares half of my pillow. So when I woke up and rolled over to see if he was awake, he simply whispered, “I love you, Papa.”

Yeah. :)

This is why we have kids, I thought.

“And also — I love Mama,” he continues.

“But I do not love Ruby.”

On a visit to Grandma Bonjour’s Ruby was sent to the kitchen to show Grandma how a newly donned outfit was cute. The little model walked into the kitchen, as instructed. Grandma said, “Ahhhh.” C went over to Ruby and punched her in the nose!
