Bernita’s Birthday Picnic

The Bonjours celebrated Bernita’s 23rd birthday at Old Mill Park.

Grandma wrote “Mother Bonjour and Glenn.” This is in front of Paul and Elsie’s house at Old Mill Park, where they lived while Paul was groundskeeper.

Grandma wrote “Joel Pierre Bonjour 1946 Bernita’s birthday” He goes by Pete today.

Grandma wrote “Marge and Bill.” Marge is the daughter of Elsie’s sister Lucille. Bill was her husband.

I can recognize the following people: on left side, far to near: Violet, Glenn, [girl?], [girl?], Elsie; on right side, far to near: Aunt Sis, Paul, Bub maybe.

Grandma wrote “Dad Bonjour, Marge, Pierre” This was near others in album of Aunt Sis’s birthday 1946. Marge is Paul’s wife, Elsie’s, neice. Pierre, who now goes by Pete, is Paul and Elsie’s grandson. What does that make Marge and Pete?

Grandma wrote “Dot & Bub” “Bub” is Eldin, and “Dot” is Dorothy.

I can recognize the following people: on left side, far to near: Carl, Violet, Glenn, [?], [?], Elsie; on right side, far to near: Thelma maybe, Aunt Sis, Paul, Bub maybe.

Grandma wrote “Uncle Austin, Aunt Lucille, Dad Bonjour, Marge, Pierre, Bub, Jerry” But that’s not Marge, that’s Aunt Dot. So I don’t know if that baby is Pete (Pierre) or what. Lucille is Elsie’s older sister, and Austin Eastman is her husband.
