Whenever Ruby wants to go into the front room (the most exciting room of the house, by all acounts) she says she wants to go check her email. When C was at the dentist, and she asked him if he brushed his teeth every day, he said “Yeah, and I check my email.” In this little movie, Ruby and C are at the computer trying to check their email.
Hmmm… another random movie as Sunday Picture. And it doesn’t even have all of us in it. I’m slipping. It was just one of those weeks, you know? It wizzed by, without me noticing. I know I must have hustled C and Ruby out the door, to school, hustled Ruby back, probably grocery shopped on the way home, did some stuff or cleaned at home, napped (ahhhhhhh), hustled Ruby off to pick up C at school, hustle home, cook dinner… lather, rinse, repeat. I went to norsk Tuesday but not Thursday. I’m slipping on that, too. Just hard to be motivated. I know I sound like an idiot! (Uh, when I’m speaking Norwegian, not when I’m complaining about not being able to. Well, maybe then, too.)
I guess the highlight of the week was game night. We played Belter with Johannes, Arne Martin and Christian. Everyone brought their own laptops to be able to use the Belter spreadsheets we found online. This game is utterly painful, and almost not playable, just using paper and pencil. It’s got some promise if you can use a computer to take care of the minutiae.
I knitted a robot for Brent and Sally this week, and mailed them a little package with gløgg.
