Mug shots for new visas

We had to go renew our visas, which required a passport photo taken within the last 6 months. Which, of course, meant it was a passport photo taken that very morning. If possible, I think C’s was even less flattering than mine. Ruby was a darling as always.

Apparently the only interesting thing we did this week was go to the UDI. We slept a lot and tried to recover from the trip, unpacking and settling back into our freezing home. C was happy to return to school.

C has created an imaginary family: papa named Bobby, mama named Tsunks-tsunks, boy named Tsunks-tsunks also, and girl named Poop-poop.

He has been enjoying the newly expanded train set quite a lot, and always wants to look at the “constructions” (instructions) to see how to build the big track that uses all the pieces.

Chris and I have finished watching Firefly (we started it in Portugal) and totally loved it. What a great show, and a great shame that it got cancelled.
