I absolutely love this colorway. It is reminiscent of the aurora borealis, and the bias construction of the Clapotis further suggests the slanting, undulating nature of the aurora. I’ve wanted to knit the Clapotis for a long time, and finally found inspiration in the Noro Silk Garden sock weight that I found at my mom’s local yarn store, The Crazy Girl Yarn Shop, I knit a mini version, increasing to only about 40 stitches. One skein made a scarf about 11“ wide, and 5’ long (25x150cm). Originally intended as a gift, I’m not sure I’ll be able to give it away!
