I think I recognize that shirt, from Motherwear?

OK, I did crop myself out of this picture — but I was making an awful face, and it was a good one of the three of them, so I wanted to keep it. Oh, how young Ruby was!

Aw, a squishy 6-month old. That’s about how Sara Ellen looks now.

She’s got a lot more hair though.

We took a Sunday Picture tonight right before C went to bed. He is wearing one of the dust masks we have been using while we are sorting and packing things — it has been very dusty and it makes our allergies act up. C is holding a Mojo Jojo doll (yes, from Power Puff Girls). It was given to us as a present (Thank you, Sam). C found it a while back and he really liked it. Despite my best efforts to hide, conceal or otherwise “disappear” Mojo Jojo, C always seemed to find him again. I don’t really like the idea of C having an emotional attachment to something so commercial; we tend to lead a media-free lifestyle and we especially would not watch something so unreal and violent with him (though Chris and have enjoyed the Power Puff Girls on our own). Today I finally gave up. We were having a garage sale and C found Mojo in a box of things we were going to give away and the joy on his face was just too much. He really loves Mojo. I don’t know why. He’s never seen the cartoon. As far as C knows, Mojo is just this little green monkey-looking guy with a funny hat. C likes to point out that Mojo has toes, too. C calls him “Lo-lo” most of the time, but once yesterday he said “Mo-jo-ko.” Other than my Mojo Jojo capitualtion, it has been a busy week of sorting and packing and organizing. 10 more days until the movers come!
