Dick in a Stripey Tie

These photos were separated in the album, and not labelled, but I think they clearly belong together. I wonder if the one was cut to get someone else (the boys’s father) out of the picture, or for artistic effect.

Dick doesn’t want any more kisses from his mama. A lot of Helen’s pictures were cropped like this. Mostly we assume it was to chop her first husband out of the photographs, but I think some of it might have been artistic effort to make an interesting photo album.
