Merrill Ann’s Wedding

Merrill Ann is getting married. Susie recalls that the last name of the man Merrill Ann is marrying is “Sitter”. However, I found a marriage record for Merrill Ann and Robert Sitter, and it wasn’t until 1964 (which would have made Susie 15 in these pictures… so that’s not quite right.) I didn’t find any earlier marriage records for Merrill Ann, but the California collection on ancestry.com starts in 1960.

I heard from Kathy, Merrill Ann’s sister, who said this was at Merrill Ann’s first wedding to Phil Beth.

Susie is the flower girl; Phil is a groomsman, on the left, and Cathy is a bridesmaid on the left.
