Juggling in the Park — July 1, 2006

We haven’t been doing much juggling lately, especially not in the winter. We decided it was finally time to do some serious juggling. If we expect C to be doing a 3 ball cascade by his 4th birthday, we’ve got some work to do!

After nap we brought a picnic to the park with all of our juggling stuff. Johannes joined us and he and Chris practiced some passing. Auntie Lauren was hanging out with her new friends, so couldn’t join us.

It was their first attempt at all 6 — this was the first pass! That means that all those clubs ended up on the ground… but they eventually do anyway :).

Ruby playing with the sand toys — Jul 1, 2006 at 6:41 pm

These sand toys were a free gift when we bought some sun screen in Barcelona. They have been immensely popular with the kids, though. They love to play with them in the sand, or whenever. C really likes the turtle form, and Ruby loves to put the bucket on her arm and stick stuff in it. For a free gift, we’ve gotten a lot of value out of it!

C balancing — Jul 1, 2006 at 7:01 pm

Some guys put their tight rope up between some trees near us, so we went over to see what they were doing. They let C have a turn. Johannes tried, too, but it looked really hard!
