It’s a good one of the boys.

I love how Ruby is looking over at C.
Mama and Ruby

One of just mama and Ruby. Her hairband makes it look like she has even less hair — but I swear it gets in her eyes without something to restrain it!
The whole crazy family!

So, this is when we started letting C push the button. Somewhere along his trip to the camera and back he found a small comb and a hanger which he felt needed to be included in the picture. Though wackier than usual, I think the pictures that C takes are better because we are all actually laughing or smiling with mirth, not just “picture-happy.”

Well, this is the one. I think this is the best one to represent the passage of this week. C has been getting so much more competent lately. He wants to do so much for himself. He can officially dress himself completely — zipping, buttoning, etc. all except for the second mitten. And excepting the fact that he gets sidetracked so easily that he usually doesn’t actually get himself dressed in under 20 minutes! Ruby is wearing the third dress my mom has made for her. It’s got little cats on it. She is also wearing a headband that I made from the scraps of a recent project for Edison. We’ve been working hard at finding C a barnehage (still!). I have been enjoying my new Ancestry.com subscription, and finding out all the nitty-gritty on my ancestors. Chris has been working hard at Crisp, and fine-tuning the website, which take most of his free time. We were surprised that it continued to snow this week!
Heh… I believe that is the first public mention of Crisp. Fitting, since it’s now over three years old, and now that the interpretter has seen a rebirth recently.
We haven’t taken very many sit-down-everybody Sunday Pictures lately, so I organized one. Ruby is wearing her new dress from Grandma Susie. We set the timer up on the camera and we took a few normally, then we let C push the button a couple times. Hence the kinda wacky pictures at the end.
