That’s William. He is very kind and gentle when he plays with Ruby. Interestingly, William brought a toy gun with him on this day. It was the first toy gun that I’ve seen in about ten years. It was a big shiny Dirty-Harry type gun, too. It was really weird.

Ruby can climb half of the way up the slide steps, but can’t get down by herself (either going back down the steps, or going up and down the slide).

Over in the corner, there is a little stove and cabinet with dishes. There is also something that looks like it is supposed to be a sink; it’s a cabinet with a hole cut in the top and there should be a tub set in it. There is no tub, however, and C crawled in and sat down with the top of his body stuck out the top.

Another morning at the playgroup. I started taking pictures around lunchtime. Ruby makes a bunch of cute/weird/different faces. Then she and C work on the legos. Later, we were in the large-movement room and C and Ruby used the slide with a nice little boy named William (that’s “Vee-lee-ahm”).
