Ruby is all bundled up, asleep in the wagon. Norwegian kids love to sleep outside in their strollers — every Norwegian mother will swear that the child will sleep longer and more soundly. Sure, everyone sleeps longer and more soundly in hibernation!

Sticks to the left, baby to the right. Ruby is all bundled up and toasty warm, taking a nap in the wagon. Like a true Norwegian!

On our way back home, we found something strange stuck in a snow bank: this badminton racket, and a jar of jam. The jam was from last year.

Ruby and I are snuggling outside.
We have really been enjoying our new wood stove. We’ve gotten a bunch of wood delivered, but it’s hard to make a fire without kindling. We got some fire-starter squares, but it still works best with a few little sticks. So, we go to the park to fill up the wagon with firewood.
