starting on the dollhouse

Grandpa Randy cut the pieces back in Iowa and brought them on the plane. We assembled it and painted it.
I was a half pound under the airline’s weight limit for on package. No worries as I used 5/8 inch plywood which is available almost everywhere. I could have cut a new piece or two if I had to leave some behind. The airlines inspector left me a note of “inspection”. With screwing this doll house together, one could unscrew it to flat panels again to make moving easier.

We mostly used paint that was sitting around in the basement here, but Ruby chose “Flirt” pink at the hardware store for the outside.

We were so happy to see Grandma and Grandpa for Spring Break … we explored our neighborhood and hung out together, and our main project was building a dollhouse for Ruby. Cool!
