Vegan pizza! Might as well call it thin focaccia; it had olives throughout and caramelized onions on half. Last time Ruby and I went out for pizza, she ended up taking all the cheese off anyway!

Awesome! What a fantastic idea! She wove strips of dough and draped it over a bowl to bake. Flip it over when it comes out of the oven, and viola, you have a awesome bread basket.

Again, brilliant idea. Thank you Manuela! And just so you know, I will be stealing this idea in the future.

A smooth start to an easy-going Thanksgiving.
Even though Lauren and Karl Anders are out of town, we decided to have it at their place, as we did last year. And unlike last year, everything we had was vegan!
For lunch we had a lovely pizza and some olives. Then our friend, Manuela, came over with these absolutely adorable little bread-baskets she made for the kids.
After lunch, Apl and I decided to do a little yoga.
Then we continued playing, had dinner, and played some more.
