Boot Camp? — 1973 |

I think this was when Dave went off to the Navy. Do they still call it boot camp in the navy? Where was it?

This is in Pesacola, FL. That’s where he was stationed after boot camp (that was in Orlando, FL for 12 weeks). Durng boot camp they are in uniform most of the time and don’t get liberty for the first 8 weeks or so. Not many pics during that time. Dave was in Pensacola for 4 years. He got engaged, married and had a son (Chris) during that short time! It’s amazng when you realize he was stoned in these pictures! (Of course I didn’t know that until many years later.)
