Viking Day

We went to a viking fair at the viking ship museum. It turned out to be a rainyish day, but we still enjoyed a viking fashion show, flatbread (cooked by an Opera employee) and a very long visit to the smith.

We watched him for about 45 minutes. He made six nails. He spent a long time trying to make one of them shiny, because C asked him to. I guess he was a little out of practice making shiny-head nails, but I think he eventually did it.

Lissie works at Opera. She’s trying to fool you. She’s Australian, not a Viking at all!

The stool at the back was a little too low for C.

I held Ruby up, but she still makes a freakishly-tiny-headed viking.
