Collection from C

These came home in October, but he’s probably drawn them over the last couple of months. I was forthsightful enough at the time to ask him for descriptions, a little window into his brain.

C’s description was “A volcano burning up some stuff and a flower. Gustav drew the purple thing.”

C said this was “just some prettiness in the sky.”

“Someone shooting an arrow.” I think maybe at this point he was still saying “bone arrow” instead of “bow and arrow”.

C said this is “a sun burning up. The lines are going to shoot spikey things at it.” I wonder how much of this is made up afterward, or if he really meant to draw an exploding sun. I love the shapes in the line at the left.

C’s description: “Rocks that a catapult threw and they rolled and someone came and put lots of spikes on them and the sun exploded. The blue at the top is clouds.” A serene description of the end of the world…

“Amalie shooting arrows at the mean guy who threatened her.”

I didn’t get him to comment on this one. :( It was on the back side of the picture of Amalie and her Pursuers.

“A house with balloons on it.” Note, the movie Up had not been released yet. :)
