Theater Debut — March 4, 2010 |

The spring Suttung performance came off without a hitch. They performed Fyrtøyet a fairy tale about a magic lamp. C (along with Alf-Eivind and Airi Luise) was a magic guard dog, and Ruby was the princess.

Hallvord played the witch. In this scene he is enticing the solider to retrieve the magic lamp from an old stump.

Inside the stump were magical boxes of gold guarded by dogs, who could be subdued by giving them a apron to sit on. The littlest dog kept a pet cat :)

In the second chamber there was another dog (this time both dogs remembered to wear their eyes/ears).

The dogs were supposed to have unnaturally large, glowing eyes.

The soldier got the magic dogs to kidnap the princess (who had been locked up in the castle and never came out) and in this scene the Queen and King are trying to figure out where the princess went.

In this scene they are about the hang the prince, but he calls on the magic dogs who attack and chase away the king and queen. The solider becomes king and married the princess. Who says public executions and political revolution don’t have a place in children’s stories?
