Still Working On Edison’s Quilt

I pieced the quilt, but the process of handquilting it took suprisingly long. It hurt my hands, too, so I didn’t work on it for very long at one time. C helped me, though!

C is helping me quilt: I stick the needle up from underneath, and he grabs it and pulls it through.

I got some nice marking chalk (Japanese!) to sketch out the words/wishes, and embellished with shapes I created with Kali (a program that creates patterns based on the 17 planar symmetry groups).
