Violet in the Papers

This is an article about Violet stepping down as president of a club in Savanna, and I found a better copy of the portrait they used in the news story.

There was no date on this photo of Violet, but she looks older. It’s the same as in the article about her being auxiliary head of whatever club, but that was also not dated.

New Auxiliary Head — Mrs. C. V. Nowvlock was installed as president of the Savanna American Legion auxiliary Wednesday night at a ceremony in the Legion home. She succeeds Mrs. Carl Sherman, who was installed as junior past president of the organization.
