I’m pushing Ruby and I’m running. The car had four lights. There were bikes, and Gustav sprayed water out of a hose. He was pretending to paint the buildings.

Ferdinand was being a little spotlight-shy about the singing and stuff. But in a cute way.
the birthday cake

This is a very traditional Norwegian birthday cake, almost every birthday party we’ve been to has had chocolate cake with seigman (those little gummy guys). The word is pronounced almost exactly like the name “Simon” in English, and for some reason when we first moved here, I thought they were named “Simon”. They also have female gummy people (yes, with little gummy boobs) and I once asked someone if the boy ones are named “Simon” what are the girl ones named? After a few awkward moments trying to figure out what I was talking about, we laughed and laughed at my mistake.
I loved it. It tasted so good. And I ate three pieces. I love seigmenn.
I ate just one. Then I ate another one.

The shawl is lovely but I like the previous photo of these two ladies the best (where Katy is standing and looking at the camera).
Ha! This is not the most flattering picture of me… but one has to have a sense of humor. :)

I’m playing police and thief with Ruby I think. I don’t exactly remember. And I’m not watching where I’m going!

We visited some family friends for a 3-year birthday party. Much fun ensued! C was especially happy to visit old friends from kindergarten, who he’s been missing a lot since he graduated to elementary school.
