Close-ups at the Park

Ruby and I went for a walk in the park.

This one ended up being pretty good.

I saw the picture through the view-finder, focused, and got the shot. Then I noticed that I had forgotten to change the settings (was shooting manual). But Ruby would not sit still at this point.

So I pushed it maybe… 7 or 8 stops in Lightroom. Seriously. I can’t believe how good it looks, considering. (The original was almost entirely black, with a few barely perceptible red blobs.)
