Leisurely Family Picnic

We had a slow day to allow for recovery from jetlag. We hung out at home in the morning, knitting and chatting. Then we threw together a picnic and met Lauren and Karl at the park. The boys played with the RC cars and the ladies continued the knitting and chatting.

Wendy found a cute handmade outfit for Apl at a local fair; it doesn’t fit her yet, except for the hat. Thanks Grandma Wendy!

You can see the knitting going on here in the background — Wendy knit a blanket for Apl back in February, but there was an accident a while ago and we had to throw it away. (Mercury is very bad.) Amazingly, Grandma Wendy comes to the rescue and knits another. Thanks again!
