Looks like Lauren convinced Wendy to start on the coast; that was Lauren’s favorite strategy for a while. Until she figured out it didn’t really work!

Lauren didn’t win this game of Settlers and this is how she feels about it. It looks like she had a relatively good position; Wendy’s empire along the coast was doomed to failure. Chris won of course, it looks like he played a dev-card game (2 point cards, and largest army). I’m sure I was one turn away from winning (nice string of settlements there, and longest road). But isn’t that always the way?

Grandma visit 2004! We invited my mom and Chris’s mom to visit at the same time. When Wendy arrived before my mom, we played Settlers the first night. Awesome!
