I picked the flowers to give away to people. Everyone said thank you, except for some of the people. And I was giving them away.
Also, when I asked one of the people if they wanted it, they didn’t, so I gave two of them to the girls. And I gave a closed flower to one of the grown-ups.

I wanted to capture the beautiful wood floors in this, as well as the incredibly carved wooden panels between the rooms. There are two classes, this is the B class. Those windows open onto a large hall/walkway area with a geography section in the corner that seems like it’s shared by the two classes. Behind this room (which is much larger than the picture shows) is another large room also for group B.

Yes, the classroom has a humongous fireplace! The flood of light from the right hand side there is their door that opens onto the terrace and playground.
We sang the shark song in this room.

C found a big freaking stick

It was probably 6 or 7 feet long and he is holding it straight up. He had a lot of fun waving it around, exclaiming that it was bigger than papa.
C had his first visiting day at his new school today. We dropped him off and they did some activities with their designated older-kid-buddy and played on the playground. We picked him up three hours later, and it seemed like he had a lot of fun. Except for the 45 minute train ride out there, I think we are going to enjoy this elementary school experience.
