Totally unposed… he just does stuff like this. I think maybe he was punching himself in the head.
In other news, he went to the doctor today. Got a shot. Didn’t even flinch.
If you look at the full-sized image, you’ll note:
- My camera is totally awesome.
- My lens is totally awesome.
- C has skulls on his shades.

Most of the time, she’s our little mama. And often, she’s asleep in the entryway.
But not all that infrequently… she’s a freakin’ robot.
March Project

This is the March Chainmail sweater from Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Knitter’s Almanac. The other title for this chapter was “March: Difficult Sweater”. Time consuming, yes; difficult, not really. The most difficult part for me was settling on a color scheme. I had picked the black and burgundy from my stash, so was working around these to find a light complementary color. I went with pink at first, and it was horrid. Then I pulled out another stashed ball of Kauni Effektgarn, which is self-striping with long color changes, and I think it worked out rather nicely. The purple at the top is not really my favorite, but I didn’t dislike it enough to rip out and continue the ball after the purple bit!
This is my new favorite sweater. I wear it at least twice a week.
The sweater also figures nicely at this event. Sadly, I left the sweater on public transportation back in June and haven’t seen it since. :( Maybe I’ll knit another next year.
And then there was April.

That’s my why-isn’t-Chris-taking-the-picture-yet face. I think it’s a genetic condition.
We went for a walk in the park, to give Chris some fresh air (he’d been feverishly working on the website for many days) and to take some pictures of my recently finished sweater.
