C finding his center
2009 April 10 · 11:46AM · Friday
The atmosphere in the house was getting pretty whacked-out right before the egg hunt, so I told C to go into the other room and sit down and be quiet until I told him I was ready to start the hunt. Chris went into the room after a couple of minutes and found C like this, head thrown back and eyes closed. Funny guy.
He wasn’t asleep — just… meditating, I guess.

I actually can’t remember why she was crying this time, but it looks like it’s starting to be a tradition.

Ruby loves hanging out with Apl, and does whatever she can to help; a real “little mother”.

Ruby finding hers

We had to play “hotter/colder” to help Ruby to find hers, which was sort of a tough concept for her. I think C ended up just blurting out where the egg was so they could hurry up and open the eggs together.

We filled up the traditional cardboard eggs (used instead of easter baskets here) with chocolates and easter treats sent from Grandma Wendy. The kids hid each other’s eggs and had a most exciting hunt!
