No, really… he was describing his photography technique: he holds the camera, and pushes the button down like this.

A trip to the park, and C and I had our cameras. I think he was taking a picture of a leaf on the pond.
that is really cute! like father like son!
I was taking a picture of the leaf. I also was taking a picture of two birds.

It would have been trivial (with the amount of sunlight outside) to take 1/1000 second exposure and get this all perfectly crisp. But this trip was (at least on the photographic level) about experimenting with controlled motion-blur.
It was certainly a challenge, but resulted in some interesting photos, like this one. Yet again I’m reminded of how much I still have to learn.

I had kind of been making fun of how Ruby scrunches up her nose whenever she takes a bite, so here she’s doing it on purpose. Cute!

rampaging C

C ran right into that bench, full speed. He quite startled the people sitting on the bench to his left.
I like the picture.
It’s autumn this week in Oslo (you can never really tell how long it’ll last, but the leaves turn color and drop pretty fast, and the trees get quite bedraggled after not very long.) We went to the park to take advantage of the nice scenery for picture-taking. The children’s only adgenda was to chase pigeons, though.
