Lauren was particularly taken by the dog-like habits of the meerkats. They dig everywhere, scooping the dirt out behind them like dogs. They are pretty cute, too.

Lauren, Jen, and kids went to the San Diego Zoo, woo hoo! They visisted the petting zoo, the insect house, and it looks like they did a quick tour through the rest of the zoo. Though I know from experience this is no “quick tour” kind of zoo. That place is like Noah’s ark.
