This is labelled “Fire, space ship, and a silly goose.” They had recently learned the Norwegian equivalent to “silly goose” which is tullebuk, literally “silly boy goat”. The label actually says “tullebok” which means “silly book” so I don’t know if that was an intentional pun on C’s part or if the teacher just misunderstood him or what.

This was labelled “Countries”, with “USA”, the small bit at the top, “Alaska”, the large bit to the right, “Spain”, in the center, and C told me later that the bit to the left is Africa.
That’s pretty much how Katy describes Alaska in relation to the rest of the world, so as far as C knows, this is really quite an accurate representation.

The top one was from the costume party. You can tell by the look on his face how much he likes that kind of thing. Bottom left if the ball-and-magnet work (which he totally loves at home), and bottom right is a couting puzzle (match the numeral at the top with the proper number of dots on the bottom.)

In the top picture, C is helping to make a kind of baked good for their Christmas market. And in the bottom, C said he was measuring himself with the red rods.
They kept a drawing of C’s every month all year and put them together in this book with some photos. A nice idea. We really enjoyed it.
