Summer Picnic on the Island

2008 June 3, Tuesday · Oslo, Norway

MORE +

Chris and C were still recovering from jetlag, so after they woke up we fetched Ruby from school and had an early afternoon picnic at Hovedøya, in the Oslo bay. There are ruins on a monestary to explore, and a big field to run in. We even spotted some grazing sheep!

These were leftover from a neighboring picnic, they shared with us. They were really tasty! Though I have to say removing all the excess parts is not my favorite task.

This one came over to check us out. She actually let me touch her nose and she snorted on me. C wanted to know how much they cost (because of the tags on their ears).
