First Evening Without Grandma

Mom had to go back early to return to school. I convinced Dad to stay longer so we wouldn’t have to do so much kitchen work while mom was with us. So we got down to work after she left.

And Chris borrowed a new lens from someone for wider angle shots, so there are a lot of whole-room shots now.

Yeah, it was Johannes’s old cheapo lens. You can see how it fisheyes a bit. My new lens doesn’t do that. (And neither does his new one.)

These were the test shots I did to see if I wanted to spring for a nice wide-angle lens. I did. :)

We chose blue for the main wall and yellow trim.

Remember when?

You can see the area of drywalling he worked so hard on. I think it too him eight days to get it all smoothed out — the patch of new drywall was not flush with the rest of the wall and there were huge gaps. He did a good job.
