These Wacky Kids

It’s hard to believe that these two have the same parents.

When I pull out the camera, Rubes is nothing but smiles. And after every picture, she wants to see how it turned out.

Beware! This girl is a forkin’ mess.

Normally when I take out the camera, he starts shaking his head because he knows I can’t get a decent shot that way. Which he did this time, too. But I told him that it hurt my feelings that he did that, and that I always get pictures of Ruby, but not of C. I think that stunned him just long enough for this picture.

The poor little guy has this look on his face far too often. Is life so tough at 4 ½?

She kept racing by me as I was standing in the doorway. I’m so used to my 50mm that it didn’t occur to me that I could even take this shot at first. Not only did I get her (sort of) as she raced by, but I got half of me in there, too.
