Johannes made a remote trigger thing for Chris’s new camera and Chris and C were playing around with it. This was the face that came out when Chris said “Think about the face you are making.”
C is going to hate you for it (when you show it to his bride-to-be), but this is a great photo. It’s so expressive — the intensity in his eyes isn’t something that can ever be faked. It’s gotta be real.

The pringles can just happens to be the exact diameter of the camera lens part, so you just have to drill a hole in it and then put felt on the inside and, viola, you have a serious macro lens.

Face Smoosh!
2007 December 2, Sunday
I smooshed some kid faces together for our weekly picture album. These were from the bottling day; how much help do you think these little elves were? It was a fun week, though, looking back at the photos — we bottled the new batch of beer and Chris made his crazy pringles macro tube.
Ethan was kind enough to come over and help us bottle up the Hoppy Pale Ale, and Johannes stopped by a little while later to help Chris make the super-macro lens. It was a nice day, the kids had fun playing with the guys and Chris had fun playing with the camera.
