Picnic with Hammer

C’s been really in the hammering things for a long time. So we finally got him his own tool set. What were we thinking. Anyway, there was a pile of logs at my school so I suggested we take a picnic out and some nails and let him hammer to his heart’s content.

There is an “atelier” (a workshop) at C’s school where he goes once a week for special art projects or general construction-type banging stuff. He loves it. So it’s not like he’s been deprived. He just really loves hammering and wants to do it all the time.

I think C’s hand looks a lot like Chris’s in this picture.

This grape was tiny. But I guess putting it in Ruby’s tiny hand didn’t show that off very well!

C’s kind of motoring his lips in this picture, if you can imagine (going brrr brr brr). I don’t know why. He does it a lot.

I just threw away the remnants of some stinky cheese and it was super stinky!
