Awake At 4 am

In order to catch our 6 am flight, we had to wake the kids up at 3:30 and get them down to the airport bus by 4am. Craziness. They were really good natured about it. Mostly confused, really.

Ruby has her elephant sticking out of her backpack. I tried to convince her to bring a smaller stuffed animal, but she wouldn’t hear of it.

She really was tired, so she cuddled up with the airplane pillow and blanket. But she wasn’t really asleep for this picture, she was just pretending. That’s the elephant’s trunk sticking out.
