At the Window with the Plantie

Our friend Lara gave us this little pepper plant when we visited her recently. We set it in the window because it was a gorgeous day. I put up that funny DIY expando gate (used to be part of a clothes drying rack) in the window to curtail any misbehavior at the window. It kept Ruby inside, but Wobbly walked right through it to oggle the birds who were singing a pretty song in our tree.

You can also see the lovely white blossoms on our tree. The blossoms were only there for about 3 days this year, so I’m glad I caught them! It’s some kind of cherry tree and smells divine.

I was really enjoying the bright outside and dark inside contrast.

I love how cats stretch. Not so interesting for non-cat people, though… :)
