Manuela was singing in a choir for the performance at the Masquerade Ball put on by the Friends of The Opera and was able to get free tickets. Chris and I were so excited to go with her! We had so much fun, getting our costumes ready and everything. It was a very fun night!

I wanted to effect repairs on something, and dug out the jar of screws that I knew we had. This is what I found! The had all rusted… sort of… I guess that’s oxidized metal of some sort. But there were also these strange black globs that looked like tar or melted metal of some sort. Strange!

Game night has moved to Mondays! This was a special Monday also, because Manuela brought her father over for dinner and games. We played Dixit which is a ton of fun. Also, we all wore our glasses to look more intellectual.

Chris stays home with C on the days that at I work, and he took these pictures when he and C went to pick up the girls in the afternoon. Apl started at the nursery school in February when we came back, but she was sick for more than half of her first two months. Go Go Gadget immune system!

Manuela and I decided to shave our heads! She had been thinking about it for years, and I… well, of course I didn’t need much encouragement. It was also a nice day for some photography, and I’m really quite pleased with a number of these (if I do say so myself).
