Ruby drew this for me at home. It’s a picture for me “so that you remember that you have a baby.” She was at that stage where she make a small drawing and then cuts it out of the paper. C did this, too, at the same age.

These came home in October, but he’s probably drawn them over the last couple of months. I was forthsightful enough at the time to ask him for descriptions, a little window into his brain.

Somehow kitties are always 20% less cute when you take a picture of them. Wobbly climbed up in the chair with Ander (who already takes up most of the chair space) and sat down practically on top of him, then settled down for a snooze. When Chris got the camera out, though, she was on immediate orange alert.

It’s only half way done in this picture. It’s now fully done and awaiting blocking, and I think it’ll make some nice pictures after that. It’s Noro Silk Garden Lite in a Quant. Not for me, but a stealthy two-night’s-knit Christmas present.

It’s autumn this week in Oslo (you can never really tell how long it’ll last, but the leaves turn color and drop pretty fast, and the trees get quite bedraggled after not very long.) We went to the park to take advantage of the nice scenery for picture-taking. The children’s only adgenda was to chase pigeons, though.
